Refund eligibility depends on whether the event was canceled, postponed, or still going ahead, and on the organizer's stated refund policy. This article explains when refunds apply and how to request one.
If the event was canceled by the organizerIf an organizer cancels their event before it takes place, all ticket buyers are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price paid. The organizer is responsible for initiating refunds within 14 days of cancellation. If they do not, we may intervene on buyers' behalf.
Our service fees are generally non-refundable on canceled events unless required by applicable law.
If the event was postponed or rescheduledFor a rescheduled event, the organizer decides the refund approach, they may offer full refunds, transfers to the new date, or both. The organizer must communicate their policy to ticket holders within 48 hours of the change. Contact the organizer directly if you have not received this information.
If you no longer want to attendWhether you can get a refund depends on the event organizer's refund policy. Some organizers set a refund window, a period before the event within which refunds are available. If no window was set, the default is no refunds after purchase.
